IT Support and Helpdesk Management.
Tom Ryan graduated from Northumbria University in 2019 with a degree in Cyber Security and Computer Networks.
Originally from the North East with a passion for IT, Tom has worked in IT Support for five years working on both on-premises and cloud solutions. He also holds several Cisco CCNA certifications in IT Networking.
He joined AspiraCloud back in March 2021 as our IT Support Technician. Responsible for managing the AspiraCloud customer help desk, Tom is the first port of call for all our customers, dedicated to swiftly resolving any IT issues they may have.
Working with SLAs of just four hours, Tom addresses a variety IT support tickets raised by customers on a daily basis, from creating up Microsoft 365 Groups and setting up SharePoint permissions, to adding new starters, removing leavers, managing SharePoint sub sites migrations as well as licensing management and sorting out any concerns around third-party warranties.
As more and more customers embrace Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration, he also provides Teams telephony support.
With his excellent IT knowledge and expertise, Tom can confidently handle the majority of our customer concerns, or will rapidly escalate issues to the other members of the AspiraCloud team to ensure our customers receive the best IT service and support as soon as they need it.
When he’s not behind his computer screen, we can find Tom enjoying the outdoors as much as possible, especially if it involves a bit of fly fishing and camping. He admits to not watching much television, but is a dedicated YouTuber and partial to a KFC now and again. But he would never say no to a steak dinner.
