Cloud migration project for Diocese of Chichester MAT drives collaboration across 16 schools to help improve the quality of teaching and learning.

AspiraCloud is delighted to be supporting East Sussex Multi Academy Trust, the Diocese of Chichester, with a major cloud migration project designed to improve collaboration across all sixteen schools within the Trust.

Accounting for around 706 staff supporting nearly 5,000 pupils, AspiraCloud is supporting the Trust to migrate user mailboxes, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and One Drive content from all the schools onto one single directory and one Microsoft 365 tenant.

The environment has been prepared for use as a multi-tenant type platform. Azure Active Directory and AD Cloud Provisioning has been set up ready to synchronise each school’s users with their On-Premises AD.

The senior school, St Catherine’s College, is the first school to successfully migrate on the new Microsoft 365 tenant with St John Meads Primary close behind. Each of the other 14 schools will in turn join the new tenant during 2023.

Adrian Edgar, Managing Director at AspiraCloud explains: “Migrating to Microsoft 365 using one single tenant and directory for all 16 schools is a cost effective solution for the Trust. With a modern, user friendly interface, it will also significantly improve sharing and security for both students and staff across the Trust. We look forward to supporting the Trust achieve its vision of growth, innovation and collaboration throughout 2023.”
