Citizens Advice Islington strengthens IT operations with Cloud First Support

London CAB modernises IT services with Microsoft Intune & Teams Phone

AspiraCloud is thrilled to welcome another Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) – Citizens Advice Islington – as our latest nonprofit customer!

Citizens Advice Islington is a unique Citizens Advice service, covering legal services for both the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ) and Central London Family Court, as well as delivering Citizens Advice to the local community in Islington, London. The team of trained volunteers and specialist caseworkers provide free, independent advice on a wide range of issues, including benefits, debt, housing and immigration.

AspiraCloud will be providing both Islington Citizens Advice and the Royal Courts of Justice Advice (RCJ) with access to our Cloud First Support service, a bespoke IT help desk to securely manage remote and office working. This cost-effective IT support service offers complete confidence that all data, software, devices and Microsoft 365 applications are managed and secure, so all case workers and volunteers can focus on supporting the most vulnerable in the local community. Adopting our Cloud First Support will significantly reduce the monthly IT support outgoings for both charities, which is paramount for non-profits, particularly in this current economic climate.

We are introducing Microsoft Intune to manage and remotely monitor all devices, laptops, PCs and any company owned mobile phones. We will also help both organisations migrate existing content from their current Remote Desktop solution into new, well-structured, SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams, as well as adopting Microsoft Teams Phone, so users can stay connected from their computer, tablet, mobile device, or desk phone. To drive adoption of all this new technology, we will run a series of pre- and post-migration training sessions and workshops, to help everyone understand the new way of working and manage any potential user issues.
