Revealing robust strategies to improve citizen services
Matt Dunkin, COO here at AspiraCloud, shares his recent experience from attending the Local Gov Strategy Forum, an invitation-only networking event which brings together C-suite executives and directors in local government, thought leaders and solution providers.
Despite having already attended the Education Strategy Forum, the Healthcare Strategy Forum as well as the MAT Strategy Forum, this was the first time for AspiraCloud to be part of the Local Gov Strategy Forum.
This three-day business event offered the opportunity to gain critical insight, initiate new contacts and share understanding with other key decision makers and experts. It was an ideal way to ascertain how our AspiraCloud services could be relevant for local authorities.
The Local Gov Strategy Forum presented lots of networking opportunities: in the peer-to-peer networking; lunch tables and all around the venue to have conversations. As a first timer, all of the attendees were incredibly welcoming and happy to chat about their organisations, their current challenges and where AspiraCloud might be able to help.
A big part of our strategy when working with customers is to not just to enable the technology but also to empower the users.
During my conversations, I noticed a common theme from many of the attendees – there was a distinct lack of adoption of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, which was hindering collaboration and productivity gains at their workplace. This is an area where AspiraCloud could help by providing user adoption training to these local councils to really improve productivity.
I also had several conversations around the benefits of Microsoft Intune, device management and our zero touch deployment approach for devices. I was able to share some of our case studies demonstrating how we’ve helped already organisations successfully roll out device sand securely manage all their endpoints.
It was a really enjoyable event, packed with compelling conversations! I got to make lots of interesting new connections and will be reaching out soon!
