Swiftly migrating two schools for growing MAT

AspiraCloud is thrilled to welcome yet another education customer!

Founded in 2016, Nexus Multi Academy Trust is a forward thinking and ambitious trust based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and comprises 18 academies and schools, many of which are special needs schools.

The AspiraCloud project will see us migrating two of the schools, Lotus Academy in Sheffield and Endeavour Academy in Nottingham, onto one central Microsoft 365 tenant, in order to boost collaboration and introduce a smooth transitional process for onboarding new schools in the future.

Working closely with the Trust’s IT Team, our Microsoft 365 migration experts will ensure the on-premises Active Directory is fully prepared for synchronisation prior to securely migrating staff and shared mailboxes, as well as OneDrive data, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint content onto the Trust’s existing Microsoft central tenant. All this work can be undertaken remotely with no disruption to the schools and no down time for users.

Adrian Edgar, CEO at AspiraCloud concludes: “We are delighted to be supporting Nexus Multi Academy Trust with their growth programme and migrate two schools onto their central M365 platform. By applying address book policies and a segregated Global Address List, staff from both academies will be able to securely connect and communicate with each other while limiting access to student data appropriately.”

Working with around 100 Multi Academy Trusts, independent schools, universities and colleges, including The King Edward VI Foundation, Bridge Academy Trust, Academy Transformation Trust, and Bath Spa University, AspiraCloud is dedicated to empowering education institutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning through technology.
