AspiraCloud supports ambitious growth plans for growing Multi Academy Trust
AspiraCloud is delighted to welcome yet another education customer!
Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust is one of three Catholic Academy Trusts based in the Diocese of Salford. Currently comprising 14 schools, over 6,000 students and 800 staff within the areas of Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside, and Trafford, this Trust has ambitious growth plans to welcome a further 28 schools – accounting for 16,000 pupils by the end of 2025 – and 70 schools by 2030.
The AspiraCloud project will see us initially introducing Salamander for Partners into the 14 schools. Salamander for Partners is an off-the-shelf, cloud-based solution that automatically integrates a school’s MIS, including Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom, with its IT services, such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. This integration enables the automatic synchronisation of user accounts, identities, groups, permissions and more, on a nightly basis, to ensure teachers and students always have access to the tools they need to work seamlessly online.
AspiraCloud will deliver this turnkey solution remotely, with no disruption to the schools.
Moving forward, in line with Trust’s strategic goal of implementing a single Microsoft 365 tenant for all their schools, we will then go on to work on this major migration project with Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust. The Trust has identified three schools that will benefit as early adopters of Microsoft 365. As part of this pilot phase, AspiraCloud will initially migrate these three schools onto a central Microsoft tenant, to help build confidence, cement learnings and develop a small group of beacon schools for the wider project.
Adrian Edgar, CEO at AspiraCloud explains: “We are thrilled to be helping Emmaus CAT with the technology to support their ambitious growth programme. The Salamander for Partners solution is an ideal prelude to the single tenancy migration project, as it will tidy up permissions and identities to ensure only clean data is migrated to the new tenant. With all schools eventually working from the same Microsoft 365 platform, collaboration will be improved, and staff will be able to access a wealth of digital teaching and learning solutions to drive better student outcomes.”
Working with around 100 Multi Academy Trusts, independent schools, universities and colleges, including The King Edward VI Foundation, Francis Holland Trust, Bridge Academy Trust, Academy Transformation Trust, and Bath Spa University, AspiraCloud is dedicated to empowering education institutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning through technology.
