Support Technician

To support our growing customer base, we are looking to hire a number of 1st line support technicians to improve the level of excellent support we already provide.

You will be the front-line representative for our company for clients seeking technical support.  They may be stressed or concerned and your approach to helping them will be crucial.

AspiraCloud is a small but growing tech company who punches well above its weight in terms of customer satisfaction and retention.  We like to form a partnership with customers that can and do last for years but the ethos of our company is also very important to us so you will the type of person who fits the team nicely.

If you,

  • are used to using your initiative,
  • are comfortable talking to customers,
  • are enthusiastic and technically leaning,
  • able to work independently from home, without direct supervision,
  • interested in learning more about Microsoft 365 and Azure.

We are not looking for the fully trained expert, but you absolutely must be interested in

  • Office 365, SharePoint Online and Azure
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Customer relations and customer services
  • IT and technology in general

You will work from home and much of your day will be spent in front of a computer speaking to people, so your communication skills will be as important, if not more, than your current tech skill level.

What will the job involve?

  • Answering telephone calls from customers requiring technical support.
  • Managing our online, customer facing support ticket system.
  • Triaging those requests requiring escalation.
  • Building effective customer rapport in order to identify future opportunities.
  • A repair service for technical requests not suitable for escalation.
  • Time recording and record keeping.
  • Communicating with Customers and team members to keep relevant parties informed of the status of their request.

This is a full-time role on a permanent contract, subject to a three-month probationary period.

Salary: £18,000.00 to £25,000.00 /year
