Microsoft 365 cloud adoption and device management for Accrington Peel Park Primary School
AspiraCloud is delighted to welcome Accrington Peel Park Primary School as our latest education customer.
Based in Accrington, Lancashire, this primary school teaches around 600 pupils from the ages of 4 to 11. The school is rated outstanding by Ofsted.
AspiraCloud will help the school remove the current on-premises server which is due to be end of life in October 2023 and adopt the Microsoft cloud. The project will encompass the migration of shared content to Teams and SharePoint and staff home drives to OneDrive, the introduction of Printex for cloud print management as well as replacing the incumbent GPO system, WDS and WSUS functionality with Microsoft Intune to enable greater visibility and improved security across devices and other endpoints within the school.
In line with the recent updates to the Keeping Children Safe In Education (KCSIE) Statutory Guidance by the Department for Education and to meet the new online filtering and monitoring requirements introduced in September 2023, Microsoft Intune will ensure that devices are secure, compliant and require a login.
As a recognised SalamanderSoft partner, AspiraCloud will also help Accrington Peel Park Primary School use SalamanderSoft to provision and manage users, groups and Teams automatically from Arbor into Microsoft 365. Finally, the AspiraCloud team will deliver a series of online Microsoft Teams training sessions for all staff in order to drive user adoption and ensure everyone is ready to effectively collaborate and communicate with the new cloud solution.
