Firebird Events successfully adopts cost effective cloud-based phone system
AspiraCloud is delighted to support Firebird Events with the successful adoption of MicrosoftTeams Phone.
Established in 2000, Firebird Events is an award winning event management company based in Hampshire. From conferences and weddings to exhibitions and team building exercises, the team provide entertainment and event production services throughout the UK and Europe.
Having invested in Microsoft 365 back in 2021 with the support of AspiraCloud, the business was working with an incumbent telephony solution that was proving unreliable and inflexible for the demands of remote working. Following a recommendation from AspiraCloud, Teams Phone was proposed as an alternative solution for calls.
Explains Adrian Edgar, Managing Director at AspiraCloud: “With its easy integration into Microsoft 365 and the ability to video call, it made perfect sense to introduce Teams Phone into the business to replace the failing phone system in place. This cost effective, collaborative cloud-based phone system enables users to make both internal and external calls to any landline or mobile number, directly from the Teams app, as well as the ability to combine calling, chat and meetings.”
As the business will still under contract with their existing telephony supplier, AspiraCloud was able to merge the two phone systems to avoid any downtime. Licences were purchased and all 23 users were swiftly assigned individual Teams Phone numbers.
