Supporting the modern, serverless secure school

Microsoft 365 cloud adoption for Huntington Primary School

AspiraCloud is delighted to welcome Huntington Primary School as our latest education customer. Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, this expanding primary school comprising 130 staff, teaches nearly 500 pupils across 7 year groups from reception to year 6.

To meet their objective of creating a serverless environment, AspiraCloud will be supporting the school with the migration of all existing on-premises data to the Microsoft cloud.

The project will encompass the configuration and setup of Azure Cloud Sync to synchronise the current on-premises Active Directory with the existing Microsoft 365 tenant so users can use the same credentials for logging in.

Subsequently, AspiraCloud will take data from the current on-premises file shares and securely move it to the Huntingdon Primary School M365 tenant.

As part of the migration process, we will also recommend some file structural changes, based on permissions, audiences and data types. This will ensure the new information architecture and data on the M365 tenant is well structured and ready for Microsoft Copilot, while at the same time improving governance and lifecycle management. This restructured environment will also help users get the most out of Teams and SharePoint online.

Says Adrian Edgar, CEO at AspiraCloud: “We are thrilled to be working with Huntingdon Primary School. We look forward to supporting them in modernising and restructuring their IT environment to become a cloud first, serverless school.”

Already working with numerous independent schools, MATs, universities and colleges including Bridge Academy Trust, Cheam School, Academy Transformation Trust, and Bath Spa University, AspiraCloud is dedicated to helping education institutions cost effectively improve the quality of teaching and learning through technology.
