Centralised M365 tenant for The Discovery Trust
We’re delighted to welcome yet another education customer!
Formed in 2012, Discovery Trust is a well-established Multi Academy Trust based in Leicestershire. Comprising 13 primary schools and 2 SEND schools, the Trust has recently acquired Ash Field Academy as part of this growing Trust.
All schools within the Trust currently use Microsoft 365 as their cloud platform of choice and were looking to swiftly migrate the new school onto the existing tenant in order to boost collaboration and provide the same secure services to the new school.
Working closely with the IT Team and the schools’ on-site support resources, our expert M365 migration team will ensure the on-premises Active Directory is fully prepared for synchronisation prior to securely migrating over 400 staff, pupil and shared mailboxes onto the Trust’s existing central tenant. As part of the project scoping exercise, we’ve also identified all the SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive sites that require migration. Using ShareGate, a powerful content migration tool, all SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive sites, including comments, chat permissions and OneNote for Microsoft Teams, will be moved, with no down time for users.
Adrian Edgar, CEO at AspiraCloud concludes: “We are delighted to be supporting the Discovery Trust with their growth programme and swiftly integrate their latest school onto their existing M365 platform. Ash Field Academy will be able to securely connect and communicate smarter with the other schools and access a wealth of digital teaching and learning solutions that the other member schools already enjoy.”
Already working with around 100 schools, Multi Academy Trusts, universities and colleges including the King Edward VI Foundation, Bridge Academy Trust, Academy Transformation Trust, and Bath Spa University, AspiraCloud is dedicated to helping education institutions cost effectively improve the quality of teaching and learning through technology.
